Aaron brings an entrepreneur’s perspective to Seek First Capital. Over the last decade he has built and invested in a range of businesses. He started with franchise restaurant concepts, moved into investing in startups, and in 2023 bought a large laundromat in town as his first real estate purchase. He chose it because it was a business he understood, inside a building he could stand behind.
Since then, Aaron has flipped more than 20 properties in two years and built a portfolio of single-family homes, apartments and a short-term rental in Missouri. That hands-on experience means he knows what a good deal looks like and how to approach it. What excites him most is mentoring: helping investors think through deals, explore creative structures and spot the opportunities in both real estate and small business. He loves playing a small part in someone else’s success story.
Aaron’s work is grounded in his faith. For six years he has coached and mentored high school boys at his church, because he believes God has called Christians to make disciples and to show young men what Godly leadership looks like. His favorite verse, Psalm 127:1 (“Unless the Lord build the house, the builders build in vain”), reminds him that every blessing is a gift from God. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and kids, usually at the lake on weekends or cheering on KU basketball.

When she isn’t moving files toward the finish line, Lisa is likely busy with her "sweet" side hustle as a specialized baker of intricate wedding and themed cakes. Her life outside the office is defined by adventure and family; you’ll often find her traveling, camping, kayaking, or gardening, usually with her six grandchildren in tow. Lisa is also a long-time partner with Compassion International, reflecting a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact both locally and globally..
